Abstract
This research is based on the discourse of changing the name of the
Department of Islamic Community Development into Development Studies,
and the scarcity of enthusiasts. Though the curriculum is quite good and is
recognized by APSI and Kemensos RI. Strategy Development at PMI Fidkom
UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is indispensable to be able to hamess the
power, take opportunities, minimize the weakness, and take the opportunities
that exist
The purpose of this research is to get a feasible and appealing strategy
picture used by PMI Fidkom Department UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in
facing the MEA (ASEAN Economic Community) using the Strategy
Formulation Analytical Framework (Strategy-Formulation Analytical
Framework)
The approach is quantitative. The data analysis techniques used are
Matrix External Factor Evaluation (EFE). Strengths-Weaknesses-
Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) Matrix, Intemal Strategic Factor Summary
Analysis (IFAS) and External Strategic Factor Summary Analysis (EFAS)
Interl-extemal (IE) Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM),
through Focus Group Discussions (FGD)
The strategy that has attracted the result of this research is intensive
strategy, it is in accordance with the result of the analysis of the condition
information of PMI Fidkom UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta which is suggested
to use intensive strategy in the analysis of the condition information PMI
Department is in Quadrant ll or is experiencing growth and development
However, the PMI Department is in a strong competition environment so that
with such conditions (in quadrant II), PMI is expected to implement an
intensive strategy or strategy that seeks to increase market share by
promoting student achievement, excellent service, good curriculum, to an
existing region or a new territory
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Extemal Factor Evaluation
(EFE) Matrix, Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) Matrix,
Internal Strategic Factor Analisis Summary (IFAS) dan Eksternal Strategic
Factor Analisis Summary (EFAS). Interi-external (IE) Matrix, dan Quantitative
Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), melalui Focus Group Discusion (FGD).
